Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

iTimer stores data that you actively create and configure within the app:

• Timer Presets: Custom workout configurations you create, including phase durations, names, colors, icons, and round counts.
• Workout History: Records of completed workout sessions, including total duration, rounds completed, phase results, and the date/time of completion.
• Optional Health Data: You may optionally enter average heart rate and active calorie data for completed workouts. This data is entered manually and is not collected from HealthKit or sensors.
• App Preferences: Your settings such as audio guide type, voice selection, default durations, screen behavior, and notification preferences.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

iTimer does not collect, access, or transmit personal identifiers, location data, health or fitness sensor data, camera, microphone, or photo library access, contacts, device advertising identifiers, browsing history, usage analytics, or crash analytics to third parties.

3. How Data Is Stored

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Timer presets and workout history are persisted in an on-device database. App preferences are stored in iOS UserDefaults. All data remains on your device unless you enable iCloud sync.

iCloud Sync

• CloudKit Storage: Data is stored in a private container within your personal iCloud account.
• Synced Data: Timer presets and workout history.
• Your Data, Your Cloud: Synced data is transferred over encrypted connections and stored in your private iCloud account. We do not have access to your synced data.
• Apple's Policies: Data synced through iCloud is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. In-App Purchases

iTimer offers in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, store, or process any payment information.

• Payment Processing: All transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your credit card number or payment details.
• Purchase Status: We only receive a confirmation of your purchase status via StoreKit to enable your Pro features.
• Verification: Purchase verification happens on-device using Apple's cryptographic verification.

5. Third-Party Services

iTimer does not integrate any third-party services. We do not use analytics platforms, crash reporting services, advertising networks, social media SDKs, or any other external data collection services.

6. Notifications

iTimer uses local notifications only for workout phase transitions when the app is in the background and workout completion alerts. These are generated entirely on your device. We do not send remote/push notifications from any server.

7. Audio Features

All audio processing (704 localized voice clips across 15 languages, on-device text-to-speech, and system sound effects) occurs on your device. No audio data is transmitted externally.

8. Children's Privacy

iTimer is a general-purpose fitness timer and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us at support@iappclub.com.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

• Your Control: You can delete individual presets or workout history directly within the app.
• Uninstalling: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
• iCloud Data: Data synced via iCloud remains in your personal iCloud account. Manage via iOS Settings > iCloud > Manage Account Storage.

10. Apple Watch Companion

The iTimer Watch app is a companion to the iOS app. It accesses the same CloudKit data to display and control your timers. No additional data is collected by the watch app.

11. Widgets & Live Activities

iTimer provides home screen widgets and Live Activities (including Dynamic Island support). These features display timer information from your current workout session directly on your lock screen or home screen. This data is processed entirely on your device.

12. Security

• Data Protection: Data stored on your device is protected by Apple's built-in data protection frameworks.
• iCloud Security: iCloud sync uses Apple's encrypted transport and storage.
• App Sandbox: Enabled, restricting the app's access to system resources.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.

14. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

• The right to access your data
• The right to delete your data
• The right to data portability
• The right to withdraw consent
